Welcome To The Future Of Xandeum!

The old Xandeum solution was supposed to be a blockchain of its own, with running nodes based on licenses that were sold. The new Xandeum, however, is completely based on Solana - and we believe that unlocks great potential for everybody. Please read the blog post on xandeum.network to learn more.

You bought those node licenses hoping to run physical nodes on a groundbreaking new L1 blockchain with an integrated storage layer. Well turns out the Solana-based solution lead by the Xandeum Foundation is an even more groundbreaking deal. Here's what you get because you bought that node license back in the day: All the XANDC (Xandeum Classic) tokens that you earned using your nodes can be upgraded 1:1 for XAND tokens in the new solution. With the new XAND tokens, you will benefit from the platform's rewards through the DAO, indefinitely until you sell your tokens. No limit until 2032 as it was in the old solution. Also note that in the old solution, rewards are dependent on running a physical validator with the start of mainnet, so for 90% of node owners, the ones that don't have the skills or don't want to spend the money to run a physical node, rewards are stopping when Xandeum Classic mainnet launches. When upgrading XANDC for XAND, though, you have a choice: Not run a physical validator and still capture the growth of the platform through the DAO, or still run a physical node(s). Here's what you can do if you still want to run a physical node:

• You can run a validator in the new incentivized Devnet, running Xandeum's modified validator software scheduled to start around November 2024. There will likely be an incentivized Testnet as well, this could happen as early as Q4 2025.
  

• You can run a pNode in the new incentivized Devnet, running Xandeum's pNode client software scheduled to start around November 2024. There will likely be an incentivized Testnet as well, this could happen as early as Q4 2025.
  

• You also have options on Mainnet. This will be Solana's Mainnet-Beta then, since the new Xandeum is running 100% on Solana. Since you are an early member of the Xandeum family, you will be in a pole position here. You can be among the first ones to adopt the Xandeum-Solana software on Solana Mainnet, since you already know it and have been using it in Devnet and Testnet. You have been working with the Xandeum Liquid Staking solution, and are getting stake from them. Running a validator, and its profitability, is all about stake, and you will be in a pole position here as well. Let alone the pNodes in Mainnet - they are whole new things and while anyone can run them without a license, again having known them for a long time puts you in that pole position.
